Sales were predominantly under the threshold of $450,000. The average sale price for a single family home in this region is $385,575 with a median sale price of $354,900. The average days to sell over this first 4 month period is 64 days. For full details see the Market Statistics.

Good news for the Fairwinds Schooner Cove and Lakes District proposed development. After several years of fact finding, public open houses, etc, it seems the proposal is about to move forward at last. A public hearing with the Regional District of Nanaimo Board is scheduled for May 12 at 6:30 pm. If anyone is in the area at that time I would encourage you to attend this meeting if it has interest to you.
