Sales pricing of single family homes over the first quarter of 2016 is up by 8% as compared to last year. March has seen good sales volume with sales of single family homes up by 47% over March of last year! Days to sell has been much faster at 46 days compared to 62 days in March of last year. However, the number of available listings of all types of properties is down considerably. This, coupled with high demand, makes it a seller's market. With fewer listings for sale, they have been selling faster than usual. Buyers have to move quickly on a selected property or risk losing out. Many of the higher priced homes above $1M have sold too.
